Cassia senna

It is recognized by the United States Pharmacopoeia. It is useful in constipation normal. It lowers bowels, increases peristaltic action in the colon by its local action on the intestinal wall. It is used as an expectorant, carminative, chest injury, antidysentric and laxative.
